would you take a 6 week old baby....

No. I have to tell you, anytime I go to WDW and see people with REALLY tiny babies, I get a little frustrated...they're not going to remember the trip, and being in the heat/sunshine is really hard on them!

 Uh..........I think she wants to escape a HURRICANE.
I'd go in a second, since you are sooo close.:D

Go and get yourself to the hotel. Better you elave earlier then you might have to with a baby. 6 hours in a car, by yourself, if they do evacs would be horrible. Take the baby to WDW, enjoy some down time..(as much as it's possible with a 6 week old). And if the hurricane doesn't hit then you had a nice mini break.

If I was going to stay around the resort, and out of the heat for the most part, I probably would in your situation. Under general circumstances, no I wouldn't.

I would take the baby. I would probably also take him/her to the parks too. At the very least, set up a family character meal. You'll get some really great baby pictures!
