We started having days for US a few yrs ago.
BUT we quickly learned that we couldn't allow it to be in the beginnig or middle of the trip, b/c as soon as we'd get home we felt as if it wasnt a furfilling WDW vacation.
Also, we have always stayed on site, preferably @ OKW; and we'd arrive , check in and go to US
i felt like we were commtting treason!!!
so now we ADD ON a day or 2 for US or IOA....and yes they are genrally targeted towards teens.
IOA: Suess Landing does have some fun things for kids, and jurasic park is a very fun enviroment...
US: Very "Nickelodeonize" so over all, that park is kid friendly
just my 2 cents
