Would you rather move directly right , left , across the road or directly behind your home?

Neither.

Across the street is a bigger house with smaller yard.
To the right and left are both about same size houses with smaller yards.
Directly behind in a lake and I can only hold my breath for a few minutes.

Neither. Our house is the nicest one in our culdesac and the neighborhood behind us is much older and more rundown. We would stay put.

I like mine the best. It's organized for us and is the only one of the 4 houses (we have woods right behind) with a pool.

But if I had to choose, I'd go directly across, as they have:

• sun on the driveway for more of the day (melts the snow better)
• slightly nicer landscaping
• a fire pit!

None of the above.

There’s no houses behind us. on one side of us, house is slightly smaller and backyard is just dirt so I’d have to start over there. Across the street, the house is bigger but their backyard is small. And on other side of us, the house is way too big for us, there’s a pool (which I don’t want to maintain), astroturf (which feels like the surface of the sun in the summer), and the entire fence was stuccoed in this silvery white paint…seriously, it’s like the Taj Mahal or Caesar’s Palace over there.

One on the other side of the road I will take if it’s paid for or almost paid for. The one behind us and to the side the house sits off the road a 1/4 of a mile. I couldn’t afford the taxes on that house. Big house and a lot of land.

Maybe behind. The guy behind me has about 15 acres of farm and woods with some nice views.

None of the choices appeal to me. The house I live in was custom built and has a killer finished basement, which I wouldn't trade on unless I absolutely had to move.

All of the houses around me are smaller than mine so I say neither.

All of the houses around ours are larger, so I also say no thanks. They also all have stairs, which we do not want.

I would say across the road to be directly on the lake. But our lot(s) on the other side are much larger and mine in particular has privacy. No one behind us. No privacy directly on lake.

neither. my home has what i believe to be the best view in the neighborhood. i clearly remember when the realtor and i saw it for the first time and walked out on the deck-we were both shocked by the view and remarked that we couldn't fathom why the listing photos hadn't indicated it.
