Would you marry your spouse again?

I was reading an article about marrying your spouse again if you had a choice? I guess with the high divorce rate and many unhappy marriages, lots of people said if they had the choice, they wouldn't marry there spouse again. But the percentage was still higher for those who would marry there spouse again.

I know I would marry my DH again in a heartbeat. I have no regrets. I know marriage is a lot of work, but fortunately we are still happy as can be .

We've had our ups and downs - just like any other couple that has been together for 20 yrs, married almost 18. But yeah, I'd marry him again. Funny thing is, he always said he never really wanted kids. We now have two wonderful boys and DH is the best Dad. I could not have ordered a better father for my boys.

When I meet him again in heaven.. and if I'm still single.. I would certainly ask him to remarry me! He was my everything.. I was complete.

No. He was not truthful to me about something before we were married, that had I known, I would not have married him in the first place! 19 years and three kids later, I feel it's easier to stay married, but I would NOT do it again.

It makes me appreciate my DH even more. We've been together 23 years. Married almost 20.

You are STILL complete. He's just holding a spot for you in Heaven. A bit earlier than you both had planned.

In a second. That man never ceases to amaze me. We've been married almost 11 years, and it still feels like our wedding day.....sigh......

Of course he's been gone for 10 months, so that may color my view. Ask this question again when he's been home for a month or two.

It will only be 6 years on the 21st...but I would do it again in a heartbeat. He is my soulmate. He takes wonderful care of me and our children. I don't know if I would marry again if something happened to him. My mom was able to meet him before she passed away and I don't know if I could marry a guy without my mom's opinion...

Yes without a doubt . In fact, I really have more love and respect for him now than when we were first married. I know the things that bug me about him, I know his bad points and if you were to add them all together the good by far out weighs the bad. I only hope he would say the same about me.

I sure would! In a heartbeat! Our 8 yr anniv. is on 10/10. It's been really smooth sailing so far.

I should mention that he is my second DH. I truly believe that when choosing your 2nd spouse you are extra careful. Lord knows there are some mistakes you don't want to make twice.

Maybe you should have made this a poll, that would be interesting to see.
