Would you lie to your spouse about a ticket?

Nope, I don't care if he knows......what's the big deal.........things happen

I do not think I will ever get a speeding ticket unless they give them for going too slow.

My mom got a ticket in Illinios for going too slow. 40 in a 55. She was lost. The judge didn't care and ripped her a new one in court.

The area that she got it in now has minimum speed limit signs posted.

No I wouldn't lie to DH about a ticket. He's the first one I tell about it, because I'm angry at myself for getting it. I've only gotten 2 over the last 10 years, so I can't complain.

I just can't see lying to my DH, at least not anymore. My lies almost caused us to be divorced....NEVER again! :sad2:

I'm amazed that your first thought was to lie to your spouse. It would never have entered my mind not to tell my spouse the truth about something like that....or anything else for that matter.

Thank you Reverend Disneydiane :)

Actually my FIRST thought wasn't of lying. (Which I didn't do.) My first thought was, "He's going to give me h*ll" which led to the second thought-lying by omission.

My husband is the person who knows me the best which means he knows how to aggravate me the best. I try to live my life so that I don't need to lie about anything. There are times when something happens that it crosses my mind just to leave it out of conversation.

Fortunately, I realize that we're both grown-ups and can deal with. I was just asking if anyone else has ever had those thoughts.
