Would you keep both? BOG lunch and dinner

Originally, I was only able to get BOG for lunch. I have the ADR for our first full park day (9/18). Just now, I was able to pick up BOG dinner for our last full park day (9/26). The question is, should I keep the lunch now that I have the dinner, or try to switch to something else? On the one hand, we could bookend our trip with BOG this way. On the other hand, we don't necessarily have to go to the same restaurant twice in one trip. But on the other hand, I don't have any better plan for what we should do for lunch that day. What would you do?

i would drop the lunch ressie. dinner is an experience and the perfect way to fill the trip. do you need to have an adr for lunch? can you sub a regular old qs meal?

Yes, it is certainly an option to go with QS. We are paying out of pocket, so no dining plan to use up.

Completely different experiences...
Lunch you can pre order and if you do you're in and out FAST! ( Much faster than any other QS at MK). For that reason I especially love it! No waiting in a line to order, once you scan through your magic band and get your seat, your food is delivered almost immediately. The food was tasty as well!

Dinner was amazing... Neither DH nor I like
pommes frites (French FFs-lol) we asked and they made us the most delicious baby fingerling potatoes to go with our dinner. We loved the venue, it felt like we were really in a castle for a formal ball.

So I say keep both!

Since I booked a BOG breakfast and my cousin booked a BOG lunch for couple days later, I might be doing more than one meal there myself. We are still over 150 days so I know that many things will change.

I like both. Limited menu options for me; lunch I had potato leek soup and the quiche, and dinner I had the same soup and one of their salads. Both good.

I would keep both (and I also have a lunch and dinner ADR for my coming trip). I've actually eaten there three times in one trip (lunch and 2 dinners) and enjoyed it each time.

Maybe keep both. We did not care for lunch, mainly because of a horrible experience with the CM messing up my DDP credits and not getting my food until everyone else I was with was finished eating. We prefer the TS experience there for dinner - what a completely different experience and I was so glad I gave dinner a shot after lunch because it is now one of my favorites. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere at dinner was so much more relaxed and enjoyable, rather than hectic. We loved meeting the Beast on our way out. If you really want to try both, then keep them since they are different experiences. If I had to choose one, it would be dinner.

There is quite a variety of opinions here. After trying both (on separate trips), I didn't care much for the lunch or dinner food at BOG. But the dinner food was better than lunch, and the dinner experience is better because it has a character meet (with the Beast). So if I would go again to BOG at all, I would keep the dinner, and I would do lunch at Skipper Canteen (or quick serve, or at one of the MK hotel restaurants). YMMV.
