Would you go for a shorter trip or longer trip that overlaps Easter week?

Next year Easter is April 1st and that week is DS's spring break.
But being slightly crowd phobic I'm planning to go to Disney April 10-18, before our APs expire.
It occurred to me that if I can get the time off from work (which I think I can). I could extend the trip into DS' spring break.
So we could potentially go for 2 weeks or more! Starting sometime the first week of April until the 18th.
But maybe that's too long. Lol.
(Is there a such thing?)
What would you do?

That would be too long for us, we get tired of eating every meal out after about 7 - 8 days and would miss the space of our home. But if you enjoy it and can afford it, why not !!!

There are 3 night cruises leaving April 5th and 6th. That may be the answer!

Two weeks would be great, but not in a standard hotel room. I would want something with space and a full kitchen.

Longer vacations are always better if you can afford it. You can get a vacation rental for all or part of the trip so you don't have to eat at restaurants all the time. The joy of a longer trip with APs is you can go at rope drop then leave when it gets too crowded for you. I also don't like crowds and will admit that I've only ridden two rides then left for the day when crowds are bad.

We did two weeks and didn't feel like it was long enough! We did do universal and SeaWorld parks as well. I would do the longer trip

Or, you could start your trip staying at a Universal hotel during the busy period as you will get express passes, then move on to Disney.

DS will be 5 so I don't think we'd get enough out of Universal at this age..
Am leaning towards 3 night cruise starting April 5th and then 10 nights at Disney!
