Would you get tired of WDW if you were there for 12 days?

I would go for a whole month if I could. There is so much to do at Disney that it would take longer than a month to experience it all. We are going from 12/12- 12/19 this year, wish it could be longer.

A PP said they could do everything in WDW in 3 1/2 days, I find that questionable. If they can, they didn't even scratch the surface of what WDW has to offer

I agree with the other 3 pages of replies, there is so much to do and lots of ways to relax, even 12 days is cutting it close. Have fun, we are also going to 12 days in May/June

NO WAY! in fact we are going for 2 weeks in October and can hardly wait! the way I see it is that you are spending 2 days on travel alone so you may as well ejoy the time you are there for as long as possible. We've never been able to afford to say more then 5 days before.

We stayed for 14 days and it still wasnt long enough for us! I guess we are easily entertained!

I don't think I would get bored or have the "magic" wear off.

Our trips are between 5 and 7 nights and I always wish we could stay longer. With our son being 4 we have always built in rest days during which we avoid the parks, sleep in and swim. Those are some of my favorite days because we really enjoy the whole atmophere of the resort and WDW as a whole instead of just the parks. Those are good days to eat at a resort you haven't been to before and just relax.

I think that giving yourself down time allows the opportunity to discover the other great aspects of WDW that exist outside the parks.

Enjoy the fact that you can spend that much time at WDW and have a great time.

There is a possibility that I might have an attention deficit problem because as much as I love the place, and I really do, I get tired of it in a short time. My max is 5 days and that is only if I take a break from the parks every other day. I don't get bored so much as just cute overload. By the end of five days I am going to hardware stores looking for large rodent traps (humane of course). :rotfl:

I stay off site and usually spend more time exploring all directions in Florida then at the parks. Some years I go to Universal to break it up and sometimes to the Space Center or east or west to the beaches. Another time I drove to Key West for an overnight. Silver Springs is a good day trip as is the new Cypress Gardens. As much as I love all things Disney, I have a need to experience other things as well.

On the other hand I have been many times in the last 22 years so that might account for my lack of extreme enthusiasm. I still love to go, it's just that my attention span is much shorter.

I guess I should be getting over it soon considering the countdown clock below.

:rolleyes1  :scratchin :worship:

A long stay like that gives you the luxury and freedom to be able to rest and not try to do the parks commando style. You won't hit the wall mid stay like many do, especially if they are not use to the heat and humidity.
There is so much to see and do it would take a month to expereince most of it..

Ha Ha this time we're going for 21 days .. Last time we went for 2 wks and it just wasn't long enough .. :teeth:
We plan on doing absolutely everything this time!

My family isn't much for long trips....we take alot of vacations, but they are usually 5 days max...any more than that and they start getting restless!!

We don't commando style the parks, and we go in the off season and get to do everything we want to do in 4-5 days easily.

We were there for 11 days last August- it was great! We tried a lot of restaurants we never had time for before, my DH and DS16 played golf, we did a lot of relaxing ( yes, a WDW vacation can be relaxing! ). It was nice because we never felt we had to rush around to see something.

Bored, no. However the past two years we were on a go, go, go schedule and were so busy and tired, after 10 days we were ready to go home and have a vacation from our vacation. This year we are preparing for a slower trip.

Hi There,

Are you mad. We have been visting for at least 14 days a year since 98 and are still to do everything.

My last trip was 15 days of Magic... Bored, never! I wished I didn't had to go home after those days... Can't wait to go back, and if I could for another 15 days, but I think it will be 10 days on my next trip...

No way would we get bored! In fact, my brother (almost 19) and I (almost 32) were celebrating today that we got all of the ADRs that we wanted (except CRT) for our upcoming trip. He said "let's just pitch a tent and live at WDW." No joke!

We *love* it there. Our vacation is for 10 days this year! :)

We just got back from a 10-day trip and it was fantastic! We used to always do a week and just felt like it was too rushed.

We didn't go to the parks every day. Instead we used some "off time" to relax and scheduled a park every other day. On the "off days" we relaxed at the pool, shopped, and did some of the character meals and events.

Never, never, never will I grow tired of being there! I don't know how much your ten day pass is costing you...but I think you should look into the Annual pass fees....it may come out cheaper for you! This way you can go into and out of the parks at your leisure...spend time at the hotel, go to a park just for dinner, breakfast, lunch or just a parade...and not feel like your wasting money on the passes!

Have a magical vacation!

There is just too much to do at WDW. All in close proximity! That's what I love most. It is so darn convenient. We usually go 10 days, but I wish I could add 2 more days.
