Ordered my cake today for CG. I got the 6 in with vanilla cream frosting and the white chocolate castle on top. It is really for just 2 people. Now I am wondering if I should get a 8 in so I can have a more custom cake. Like Choc. cake with rasberry filling and white buttercream frosting, then have the castle on top. What would you do. They are putting Happy Anniversary on the cake. Are these cake any good, or should I go for broke and order something special?

Trust me, I know the feeling. I just ordered an 8 inch, so I could get Chip and Dale. It's my son's birthday, and I ordered a vanilla cake with custard and strawberry filling with whipped cream icing. We will be eating cake all week. hmmmm.....is that a BAD thing?!

Since yours is only for 2, I think you did the right thing!

Do you have to get 8" to customize it?

I've also been thinking about what to do for dds birthday. There will be 5 of us (3 adults, 2 kids) but none of us are big cake eaters. I don't want to have leftovers since we're flying home the next day so I really think 6 inch would be enough, but it would be nice to have something a little special on it.

I'm 99% it has to be the larger cake to customize it... I'd probably go with that one! :)
