My wife works in a pharmacy and a large percentage of their customers are well-off retired people. Many are needy and demanding but there is one that takes the cake.
Yesterday, this person walked back to the pharmacy and there was a line of three people waiting to pay for their prescriptions. So this person walked to the front store and got an Assistant Manager to go back to the pharmacy, get their prescription and check them out at an open register - bypassing the line of people waiting!

It seems this wasn't a one-time occurance and at some point a relative visiting his house discovered quite a number of houseplants being kept in the garage. 


That's the problem we all need to show more respect to our elders.
