Would you eat it? Ever cooked fish on the 3rd day?

I bought salmon and tilapia fresh from supermarket on 6/9, kept it in the fridge wrapped and cooked it tonight. I've googled that you should only keep fish in fridge 1-2 days and cooked fish can be kept in fridge 3-4.

Sorry, but I wouldn't eat fresh fish, let alone on the third day!!

Hopefully someone can be of more help than I am!

Nope. I got food poisoning from salmon burgers that sat in my fridge after 1 day from purchase. I will never eat salmon burgers again after that one.

I wouldn't but DH would. I probably have because I didn't know how long it sat before DH cooked it.

thank you for your replies....i think I will have to throw it away, better safe than sorry (not a good budget day) Good thing it was only two pieces $7 total

You'll be able to tell by the smell if it's no good. It'll also get a bit slimy.
