After you get all the dirty minded comments out of your system, would you eat it? My neighbor said their turkey had three legs when they unwrapped it. They cooked it and ate it, said it was good. I don't know, I was kinda grossed out just thinking about it. Would you have eaten it?

I'm with you on that one, I know it is crazy to be grossed out by it, but I think I would be.

I wouldn't have killed it. I would have put him on a talk show or written a book about him. I would have made a lot of money and had a very happy pet turkey. :goodvibes

:rotfl: At least you and my DH agree it was probably a "him". DH asked the neighbor if they were sure it was a leg. :rotfl:

The legs are the best part, so yeah! :woohoo:

Sure I would eat it. There's no way a dead, cooked and digested three-legged turkey can hurt me.

Yes we did! I completely forgot about that. One of our turkeys had an extra leg with it. I don't know if it was attached or what. I personally didn't eat any of the legs, but I know they were eaten. I did eat the meat from the turkey though.

I said him because I always think of "Tom" turkey. Actually I never really think of a name, or I couldn't eat them at all.

My dog loves the legs, so if I got one that was already ready to eat, the dog would be in turkey heaven. She would probably eat it, if it turned out not to be a "leg", but that would have to be another chapter in the book.
