DH saw that Cape May has crab legs and wants me to think about dropping Kona for it what do you think are the crab legs worth it?

Personally, I wouldn't. Except for desserts, Cape May for dinner has never been good for us (tried it 3 times so it wasn't just a single off experience that gives us that opinion).

Have never eaten at Kona (the menu doesnt appeal to DH) but we love Cape May. I love the seafood (the clam chowder soup!) and there is plenty for my non-seafood liking husband.

No way. I would go with Kona. Though I'm all for someone bringing me my food vs standing in line after line trying to get food at Cape May. I enjoy the deserts at Kona better too. Gotta love the Kona Kone!

I have never eaten at Kona, but would still recommend it. Ate at Cape May once - never again. Very crowded, buffet dishes not refilled frequently, fatty beef ribs and seafood that is not fresh. Yuck!

3rd option is a combo of both....go to Captain's Grille at the Yachtclub.
They do a great job, have homemade clam chowder and the best crab cakes and caesar salad that i've ever had...plus they have a crab leg entree..29.99 and a HUGE plate of legs.

Last fall (if they still have it now) they also offered a 3 course meal with app, entree, dessert from a select list. it's about 28 dollars OOP or is 1 dining credit.

This was our favorite place during our trip.
Plus, if you have kids, they have a fun dessert here just like kona has the kona cone.
Cap. Grille has a kid's kabob dessert of marshmallows, brownie and rice crispy treats and fruit....i really thought it looked GREAT.

so cap grille will give you the crab leg option....along with a waiter serving you and more quiet meal...best of both worlds.

Captain's Grill is a good restaurant...as is Kona Cafe.

Cape May is good --for a buffet--but it is a buffet. The food's never quite as fresh to me, sitting on hot tables like that. It can have very long lines at the buffet, and like all the Disney buffets, it's very loud in there. It's a good choice if you need a buffet for a lot of picky eaters in your group, but we prefer the served-meals at places like Captain's Grill & Kona Cafe.
