Would you drive down for one week?

We did it a few years ago. Got up at 2am Sat morning and reached the border of Georgia/Florida by Saturday night and then WDW by Sunday. We felt it was a little tight but its definitely better than not going.

Last year we drove down for five days:thumbsup2. We drove straight thru there and back. It was worth it for a few days of Disney.

Hello fellow Canadians!

We are driving down for the first time...have always flown out of Buffalo. Flights were just too expensive this year. Almost 2x as much as what we paid last March break. Son is in Gr 9 this year so we didn't want him to miss too much school. We are leaving on Thurs Mar 11 right after school and driving straight through. Booked 2 nights at CBR so we can just relax when we get there (we'll need that hot tub!).
Then we're moving to a 4 BR pool home in Calabay parc for 7 nights. We're driving back (straight through again) on Sun Mar 21 arriving back Mon Mar 22nd. Kids will only miss 2 days of school and we'll be in FL for 9 nights.
That's our plan so any tips you can give me on driving will be well appreciated!:surfweb:
This is more of a relaxing trip this time. We have done the Disney park every day kind of trip before. I wouldn't consider driving otherwise...even though DH will be doing most of the driving!
