There is a house across the street that is being renovated. It must be a weekend project because they are not there during the week and they seem like friends. Some wear a construction company sweatshirt.
I should add this is a huge project! They have gutted the inside, ripped off all the siding, etc.
So anyway, I am woken up at 6:30 am by voices across the street. At 7:30 the power saw starts. 7:30 on a Sunday morning! I was livid.
So I looked up our city's ordinance and it clearly states no construction noise before 9:00am on a Saturday and Sunday morning.
I was thinking of printing it out and taping it to the door so when they show back up (they pop in and out during the week) they'll see it and hopefully get the hint.
What do you think? Would you leave the note or say something to them if they start back up next weekend?
