DH and I decided to get the basic DDP for our trip. We are going for 10 nights. We will be going to DHS twice. One of the days, we will eat lunch at Pizza Planet (my kids love it there and they LOVE Toy Story).
I have been wanting to go to the '50s Prime Time Cafe for a while now, mainly for the experience. For our second lunch at DHS, we are thinking about going there and just paying OOP. It seems cheap enough (we would likely get sandwiches anyway, and the most expensive entree is $16.99). Then, instead of getting dessert there and paying OOP for it, we could use a snack credit and get something at Starring Rolls, if we still feel like having dessert. I thought this would be a nice place for my kids to eat as well, and the kids' menu is certainly cheap enough. No problem with having an extra CS credit...we would use it on breakfast one morning. Would you do this if you were me?
Since some folks may be wondering...we're not going there for dinner because there are just too many resort restaurants we want to go to, so we decided to do those for our dinners since it won't interfere with midday park time, which would happen if we went for lunch. So dinner is not an option. Is the experience at Prime Time as nice for lunch? Do they still tease you if you don't finish your vegetable, for example?
