Would you do both O'hana and Kona?

I would select one or the other (we prefer Kona)...the overall experience is similar because of the location...try other hotels or restaurants downtown for the other meal (boma or jikos are terrific and the hotel is incredible to see or try raglan road and see the celtic dancer and walk around) --there are so many neat locations that go beyond the food!
Have fun!

I would do both. It may seem like their menus are similar, but they are not. I have not eaten at Kona for dinner, but I have for breakfast. Neither Kona nor 'Ohana present their meals in the same manner. Kona Cafe brings out your food in the traditional way and you order off the menu. It is a set menu, but the chef will accomodate any dietary needs that you may have. 'Ohana serves their food family style. In other words, it is brought to your table and everyone scoops out their own food and puts it on their plate. It is also an all-you-can eat meal. From what I have read, Kona Cafe is a favorite of many. Kona Cafe is much quieter than 'Ohana. 'Ohana has children's activities and a very nice dining experience.

Sorry, my bad. My previous post may be misleading. 'Ohana has a set menu and they bring around every item that is on that set menu to your table family style. Kona Cafe is the traditional type of menu where you can order whatever item(s) that you want.
