I currently have ADR's at O'hanas. I need to book one more. Would you choose Kona's or is it too similar to O'hanas. I have never been to eithr one. I'd like to make my last ADR not at a Disney Park.

I would! The wings at both places are totally different as is the salad and the bread and the desserts....just because you can get shrimp, pork and steak at both doesnt matter because they are seasoned and served differently

I would also do both, especially since one is served family style and the other is ordering off the menu. Both are really good too!!!!

Hi. We've booked Kona for B, L, and D and Ohana's B, D. I think the menu sounds a lot different between the two. We LOVE Ohana's and i never realized Kona was a table service, i always thought it was a quick service for some reason. I'm very excited to try Kona, it gets great views and the menu looks wonderful! Have a great time!

We enjoy both very much...one for the interaction, and one for excellent food! Ohana is our 1st night tradition now....It really gets us into a Disney~vacation mode:banana: !

I agree with the other posts. We have eaten at both Kona and 'Ohana and have booked both again for our trip in August. The food at both is fabulous but very different. Sure both are at the same resort but it is a beautiful resort and easy to get to on the monorail.

Speaking for myself YES! We've actually booked ressies for both Ohana for dinner and Kona Cafe (twice for breakfast) for our trip in Sept. based on the wonderful reviews we've heard for both places. That tonga toast is calling our name:) and we're staying at the Poly so it'll be convenient to eat at both places. If you can I would eat at both:)

Glad to hear that everyone says do both. We have them both planned for our trip this fall. Now, we have them back to back - Ohanas the night we arrive and Kona the next night. I hope that doesn't spoil it for us.

Thank you for all of your good advice and opinions on Kona. The menu at Kona sounds great, but I didn't want it to seem like the same atmosphere as O'hanas. I have one more ADR to make and wanted to not have to go into a park. Kona's sounds like the right choice for me. I'm sure my DH will order a steak. We are staying at the Pop. The other two restaurants I was considering are The Wave, but the reviews sound like they have issues yet and Grand Fl. Cafe, but the pictures don't quite look like a cozy atmosphere.

You can definately do both - they are not the same at all - completely different experiences and food. But if you'd like to visit another hotel, I like the food at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Then you can have a nice evening at the Grand Floridian, too.

I have never been....we lave in 13 days. Since we are staying at the Poly I booked Kona for the night we arrive and Ohana for breakfast the next morning. They sounded very different.

Yayyy.... so glad to read all these great reviews of both because we have both booked for dinner during our Sept. trip!
