Would you consider this? Value and Vistana..

First, we are a family of five who value our space while vacationing... but we're on a budget and have small children who still nap in the afternoon.

And, we adore the DDP, so we need to stay onsite in order to buy that option.

So, I thought of an idea to possibly have the best of everything: budget, food, napping, and lots of room to stretch out.

What if you booked one room for $79 at a value resort for the week, bought the DDP for everyone (3A, 1C, 1 toddler free), and THEN booked a 2-brdm suite at the Vistana for $129/nt? You would get a napping/swimming place during the day and get access to DDP with the Value resort, and room to relax and stretch out at night, and make breakfast in the AM with the Ventana.

So, for less than two adjoining rooms at a Mod, we would have basically 3 hotel rooms, and the DDP, and a napping pad during the day.

I'm looking for someone to play devil's advocate, or be an angel and point out other benefits I'm overlooking. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Oh, and I don't have a code attached to my name, nor do I expect to get one for 2 rooms at a mod (which would be my ultimate win...) So, I'm getting "creative" here....

Will the values let you book that in one room. You might have to pay extra for the extra adult. If they would let you it would work just fine. Will you have a car?

Why didn't I think of that? I'm curious to hear responses since we get access to my mom's time share. Very creative and interesting idea.

BTW, we have stayed at Vistana Villages and found the 1 BR VERY small, but well organized and clean. We didn't use the amenities like the pool. Convenience to the parks was awesome - 15 min from our parking lot to being on the tram. We also didn't have kids. I think the DDP and napping sound great. I hear that the values have great bus service, so getting to the hotel for your naps should be easy if you don't want to move your car.
