Not sure if I'm just being too picky here; what do you think?
We're members of our great local children's museum and go there often. The best time of day for us to go is at about 3:30p.m. The museum closes at 5p.m. However, shortly after we arrive--maybe around 4p.m.--the staff starts shutting down some of the best exhibits, cleaning and closing off the restrooms, and putting things away. Once someone followed us around with a bottle of Windex and cleaned each exhibit after we passed. DS really wanted to go back to an exhibit we'd already looked at (and which had already been cleaned) but I didn't want the worker to have to clean fingerprints off it again so I told DS "no."
On our last visit I heard one staff member telling another (at about 4:15p.m.) "Let's go ahead and get everything closed up and we can all be out of here by 5!"
My kids still have a great time but we always miss out on a lot since things are shut down before closing time. Should I write a letter to the management, or just accept this and try to get there earlier? Thanks--I never want to make a nuisance of myself, or make life hard on other people unnecessarily
