Would you change resorts if. . .

I've been doing some number crunching (Mom says it's my word of the week. ) and I was checking prices of a couple of resorts if I were to get the Cinderella PIN. I doubt I will get it, but if I did, I want to be prepared with a decision.

My boyfriend and I will be staying at POFQ from May 1st to May 6th and it will cost us $1617.18. If we were to get that PIN it would be 15% off instead of 30% off like the other mods. That brings the price down to $1374.61.

If I were to stay at another mod, I would get 30% off. My choice would be POR. It would cost $1617.18 and with the 30% off it will be $1132.03.

That is a $242.58 difference. Both are my dream resorts and I like that there aren't multiple stops at POFQ, but I would love to save $485. This may seem like an obvious answer, but I'm pretty torn. What would you do?

I'd stay at POFQ. It is undergoing a rehab currently and should be completed by the time you arrive.

I was thinking about staying because the refurb at POR would be going on during my stay and it's a lot more spread out for just two people. I would LOVE to see what the rooms look like when they are done.

I would do the cheaper and save that $$$.

Then use that as my spending $$ and yell "Yahooooo". :cool1:

I would save the $$ and book POR. But then I prefer POR over POFQ for the expansive grounds, multiple pools and for what to me was a better food court.

However, being guaranteed a newly redone room would be awfully nice and from Skipperkim's post, it looks like POFQ will be done by the time you get there.

I don't think there is a wrong choice per se, it just comes down to money saved and if you can be happy in a non refurbbed room (ours at POR in March was fine, clean and in excellent shape). And also if the larger size of POR won't be a problem. We enjoy the spread out resorts and actually prefer them, others are the exact opposite!

We were books at ASMo when we got the pin. I have never stayed at a mod and my first choice would have been POFQ with the pin, but I saved more by going POR. Maybe next time the pin will let me try POFQ!
