We have the following reservations for our November trip-- I am not feeling all that confident- want to have a good mix- so any suggestions advice is helpful- thanks...

Breakfasts:
Chef Mickeys
Ohana (poly)
Hollywood &Vine

Dinner:
Garden Grille (epcot)
Turf (saratoga springs)
capt jacks (downtown Disney)
Artist Point (wilderness lodge)
Trails Inn (fort wilderness)

These are our reserved table services... any suggestions on changes and what should we make sure we add for our other counter service meals, snacks, etc-

I really appreciate all the help-- and I am sorry I can't comment on other threads-- just don't have the experience or knowledge about the resort enough thanks

Those are our table s

Capt Jacks gets a lot of mixed reviews but we really liked it. On the DDP you can get a 2 lobster tail meal or they offer you a side of lobster with a steak. Well Be Back!!

Personally, I'd use my signature meal at Narcosse, Flying Fish, California Grill or Yachtsman Steakhouse and do WCC @ the WL instead of Trails End. OR, I'd use HDDR as my signature (if you really want to see FW) and do a TS at an International Pavillion restaurant in EPCOT. Artist's Point and Trails End are going to give you two similarly themed resort areas (of course, AP is very upscale).

Starbox- thank you for your input but could you help me out with some of your abbreviations (pardon my ignorance, but pretty new here)- So are you saying the only one to really change is Trails Inn??? and do something else in place of that- and HDDR? not sure what that is- thanks and sorry.

No problem. HDDR is the Hoop Dee Doo Revue - which is the dinner show at Fort Wilderness. It's a signature reservation.

My only suggestion is that you may want to consider changing your Trails End and Artist Point reservations to more variety. Artist Point is signature dining - so you have a good deal of variety open to you if you switch. All your choices are pretty much classic American cuisine, so you may want to consider that if you switch.

I am guessing that you like the idea of the Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness area - but I'd do only one meal there - either Whispering Canyon Cafe (1 TS) or the Hoop De Doo Revue (2 TS).

That will leave you with either 1 or 2 TS credits to use elsewhere. If you want to use 2 on a signature meal, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Flying Fish Cafe are both very good options and they will get you to the Boardwalk area, which is very cool at night. Both restaurants are easily accessible via. boat or walking paths from EPCOT. In the magic Kingdom area, signature dining is an option at the Contemporary (California Grill) or Narcosse (Grand Floridian).

If you are doing straight TS (1 credit), I'd suggest adding one of the International Restaurants in EPCOT - whichever one suits your tastes the most. (Our personal favorites are San Angel, Restaurant Marakesh in Morocco, and Le Cellier).

That will give you greater variety of both food and locations.

Have a great trip!

Instead of CM's for breakfast why not try CP or Park Fare. If not try CM's for dinner, we have done there for breakfast and it's not all that good. There are much better breakfast buffets on the property in my opinion.

I'll second the recommendation for Crystal Palace. The character interaction was great, the food was great, & the BEST server we had our entire stay. If you have a chance, ask to be seated in Linda's section. She's got 35+ years experience at WDW now, and is truly a pleasure!

Enjoy the Magic!
