Would you bother?

Would you bother trying to find an attractive crew member after your cruise was over? Like for example, a lifeguard on the Feb 9-12 3-night/Castaway Cay? Asking for a friend

I would think, if the CM wanted to continue contact with a guest, they would address the situation before the cruise/day was over. I would suggest to my friend to not pursue it, unless they had received such an overture.

if crew member had provided email or phone to your friend to keep in touch, that was a sign they wanted to keep in touch. As your post said "try to find," I'm going that's a no. So NOPE.

Becomes stalking if you push to hard. They may have better luck on tinder or POf. Match or whatever.

FYI, I was not JUST pondering the Dream for the show.

You aren't alone, if we didn't already have one scheduled for later this year on the Dream my wife would be wanting me to book one so she could see it too lol :-)

I'm guessing your friend lives in Canada, so we wouldn't know them.

Without more context, it's hard to say if it's worth it for your friend to track this lifeguard down. If there was a strong connection, maybe. Otherwise, it might be kind of creepy-stalkery.

I would also love to do the Balmoral Island excursion having seen pictures of it. I wasn't really considering it because the benefits of booking a 3- or 4-night onboard are so much less than those for the 7-night. BUT given that I don't like Star Wars AND I was pretty meh on the Eastern ports of San Juan and St. Maarten (which is what the Wonder has), that does make the Dream a little more attractive. Even with the reduced benefits.

pretty much 'contact' between crew and guests is not. that means that conversations in course of the CM's duties is ok. other contact - not so much. CM's have lost their job over outside contact.

emailing from home to the ship - probably ok - if you can get that info

I wouldn't if it's just about physical attraction, but if you think you're in love, it's worth a try. If your efforts fail, let it go (there are other fish in the sea) & don't become a stalker.

oh ok didn't realize they were allowed to do that... then yes if they are allowed to do that and they didn't it then I think friend should probably consider it as that the CM is not interested

I edited my post to clarify - they can't give out specific info. Now, a general "I'm on (insert social media here)" that can happen.

oh ok... well I suppose if the person was really interested they may have said "catch me on SM" perhaps then
