it was cheaper to fly out of MCO?

For example, if you were supposed to fly out on a Saturday night, but it was cheaper to fly out on Sunday morning, would you?

In a heartbeat if it saved enough to cover the hotel room.

We added a night to the front of our trip for this reason. What we saved in airfare by coming in late on a Sunday evening more than made up for cost of an extra night. Plus, we'll be ready to go first thing in the morning the next day so our touring plans didn't change at all. If it was at the end of a trip, I'd run the numbers...if it makes sense cost-wise, then yes, absolutely!

Is the difference less than everything I would spend between the initial flight time and the new flight time? If not, then how much more would I be spending to leave the next day? That's what I would be asking myself first. Then, depending on how close the amounts were, and if I had time to spare, then why not spend more time at WDW? :) Personally, if I was in a value priced room I would simply opt to keep my other expenses as low as possible Saturday night & Sunday morning and leave the next day. :)

We did - but we booked a hotel near the airport for both day before and day after check-in/check-out of our Disney resort. We got significantly cheaper airfare flying in and out a day early and late. And it means we can do a full park day on check-out without worrying about getting up 4 hours before our early AM flight. We can just use the hotel shuttle to get to the airport and sleep in a little longer :)

We always end up flying out Sunday just because we don't have to use vacations days at work for them. Our sticking point is usually what day to fly down that balances flight cost vs vacation days we have vs overall cost.

I would if we flew (we don't) because we live 2.5 hours from the airport and I would to fly back in the morning and arrive home by late afternoon.

Four people @ $50 per seat saving and a hotel room for $100? Yep!
Four people @ $50 per seat saving and a hotel room for $150? I doubt it.

That's the only reason I'm considering it, since it is a Sunday and I won't have to take more time off.

Just did the same thing, was supposed to fly out Saturday but flights were a bit higher then I thought, looked at Sunday and was surprised it was 120 PP cheaper!.................so guess what we are going home Sunday......:)

I’ve started doing it on the way down and on the way home! We stay value for those nights and either moderate or deluxe for your full package week. This year my sister has convinced me to do 4 nights at the Dolphin then our night before a package. So my one week trip had turned into almost 2 weeks! It’s a slippery slope! Lol

It's looking like it would be about $100 more...
How early on Sunday would the flight be?

If it required me to wake up at a super early hour (before 7 am) to rush to the airport, probably not. But if it was late enough that I'd get to stay out late on Saturday night to fully enjoy my last "Disney day" and still wake up rested the next morning, then absolutely!

Depending on the time of the flight, and whether you're a morning or a night person. I personally can not do a late night red eye flight, but a 5 A.M. flight is fine with me.

It's just me, myself, and I!
As a solo traveler myself, I have never seen the flight cheaper than one night stay in a hotel. Often a Sunday flight is $50 to $70 less than a Saturday flight. Another room night at WDW will be more than that.

But it seems your question is more about flight time than cost.
