Would you add a waitlist?

Just asking for some advice...

We are booked for a 3 night stay at AKJambo in a one bedroom Standard. We are five people with a 14, 13, and 11 year olds.

What I love about Jambo is Mara and the fact that the standard room will be pool view.

BUT.... the two bathrooms at Kidani sound glorious but if we waitlist for a Standard room at Kidani it will be a yucky view.

Then I was thinking well for some more points I could just waitlist for another resort since right now we only have one bathroom and are already bringing a blow up bed for when we stay at POP.

Which resort do you think has the best chance of coming through? Keep in mind our dates are June28 to July 1st! So pretty close to the 4th.

BLT standard (not willing to spend more for lake view for this trip)
Beach Club
Boardwalk (standard or Preferred).

This trip will be at the end of a park trip with nephews staying at POP so we are planning on just relaxing at the resort.

Any suggestions on how to use my two waitlist options? Or if I should at all??

Keep in mind that at BLT you'd also have 2 bathrooms. But standard views are the smallest room category there - it's unlikely you'd see that WL come through. I would definitely try for the 1br at Kidani. 2 bathrooms, especially with teens/pre-teens beats pool view IMO.

But...if you are willing to stay at BLT std view, that's the same number of points as AKV savanna view. So why not WL for savanna view? IIRC, this is the biggest percentage of rooms at AKV, so your chances of having the WL fulfilled are greater.

Thanks Tara, That is a good point. But I have been reading about some lousy views at Kidani but I still think the two bathrooms is pretty sweet. I could just WL for Kidani either Standard or Savannah. That is a good point since Savannah is a bigger selection.

You could get a standard view at Kidani that is a view of the pool, which is nice. You can request pool view and you might get it.

BUT.....I agree with the previous poster that you should try for the savannah view, especially since you are planning to relax at the resort. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on your balcony watching the animals.
