Would we need to move rooms?

Ok so we got home from our first trip home yesterday, so now I am planning the next trip!!!

Next September we hope to visit OKW and stay in a one bedroom. We wish to invite a Canadian friend to join us in a studio for 5 nights in the middle of the trip (Sun-Thurs to reduce point cost) So we would start in a one bed for a few nights, go up to a 2 bed for 5 nights, then back to the one bed.

Obviously we would prefer not to keep moving rooms and would love to just get the lock off attached to our one bed for the nights she is there. Would that be difficult to organise? Has anyone done this?

Thanks in advance,

Just a hunch, but I would guess you would have to move. It really depends on the time of year you go and how crowded it is.

All I did this summer was change resorts, going from SSR to BCV. Although both resorts are great, I hated the move. It was a big pain to pack everything & move.

You could request it but they could not guarantee that you will not have to move. Make sure your 2 bedroom reservation is a lockoff. Or you could reserve a studio separate, that way you know you would not have to move your 1 bedroom. A few extra points that way though compared to a 2 bedroom.

It's unlikely you'd need to change rooms if you book a lockoff and plan accordingly. You need to put not changing rooms as a request. Then remind them when you check in and on the days you change configurations. It's in DVC's best interest for you not to have to change rooms. But there's no way to guarantee you won't change rooms.
