have let FOTLK perform in the MK? It struck me as very out of character and used more for promo purposes.

Don't get me wrong FOTLK is one of my favorite shows but it bothered meon Main Street.

It's all fantasy, and they are great performers. I don't see anything wrong with them showcasing this attraction. Holiday theme, it's not. But that's the only thing I could see against it being in the parade. TLK on Main St is just out of place. But I don't see anything wrong with showcasing it for a special occasion.

Remember that the show we know today as FOTLK started out as a parade in the other Magic Kingdom on the West Coast. That's where the floats for the current show came from.

i hit fast forward on my Tivo, I think I'm one of the few that doesn't like this show. I would have been fine if they left it out.

Disneyland and The Magic Kingdom at WDW were both created as places where the characters from Disney movies could come to life. I thought the FOTLK portion in the holiday parade was very tasteful and by no means out of place in MK. I think Walt would definitely approve.

Yes, the parade was one giant promo for other things but I did enjoy seeing attractions I have seen. I thought FOTLK was one of the better parts of the parade. I remembered both of the male singers from when we saw it. The women were different performers (then when I saw it in the park) but I enjoyed seeing the performance!
