Would U book CR Tower for 1 night?

Looks like DD will be attending college in Sarasota, and I'll be darned if we don't have to cruise right on by Orlando to get her there! We have a 1 day base ticket each, and water park tix...so we thought, hmmm, it has ALWAYS been a dream of DS to stay in the CR Tower, MK view...and he is so bummed about his sister going away, should we just live the dream for a night?...we don't have much time (2 days), and will have a TON of stuff to unload from the car ( tho we may ship stuff to the school ahead to lighten the car) so not a relaxed 2 days..may not even do the water park...
or would you habg on to the 1 day base and save it for another longer trip and apply it toward upgrading tix? I am thinking go for it as we will be spending on the transportation etc. anyway to get her to school...the biggest painto me is unloading the car! At least the CR rooms are big enough to hold all that stuff!
Anyway, WWYD?

I know, I have been MIA way too long, but geeze, this college thing is killing us! I think I am going ot book it...here's the other thing, I have 2 rooms at POP on the 40% code ( we thought we were going to have more time, but DS high school orientaiton is 45 days before we have to get DD to school now, and then he starts 2 days AFTER we drop her off we will be road warriors!) Anyway, I am not sure if I can just "upgrade" my resort and keep the code...becasue the bookin gdeadline has long passed...and I don't even know if the CR is available ( online shows it is for the night, but still...)and probably no rooms left under the code anyway...but I'll give it a shot!

If you have the chance to stay at the Contemporary with the Magic Kingdom View even if it's for 1 night, you should still take it because it's better then not having it.

I say Yes! We have been dreaming of the CR since our Disneymoon 33 years ago. We are staying there 3 nights over the 4th; Know it will be crowded but we may just enjoy the room for our anniversary this trip! I figure on the big trips, we aren't in the room enough to make a difference, but plan on really milking this one!!!

I just wanted to say I think this is the sweetest thing I've seen in quite some time. I wish you the most magical 3 nights at the CR. May it be everything you've ever dreamed it will be.

O.K. I have decided to do it! ...I have tried calling 2x's to see if we can just transfer our PIN code of 40%, and been told no both times...Iwill try some more, but only 'till tomorrow...I don't want to lose the MK view!

Have you asked to be connected to Guest Services? I believe they're the ones who can work some magic for you (if there's any possibility of transferring the code). Good luck!
