Would this be worth it?

We are going to DLP in January. We have got 5 full days tickets as part of our package. We are now thinking of going in August too, so would it be worth us exchanging our tickets when we get there for annual passports? There are 5 of us so we'd get 20% off, would we get any further discount for exchanging our 5 day passes?

My thinking is that we would then have the tickets for August, and we'd get 10% off the hotel too, and all our meals etc.

What do you think?

Unfortunately you cannot use package tickets to upgrade to annual passports.

Why not buy one this time to get the discounts in shops , restaurants etc and sponsor the other members of your family the next time you go . You'd get another year free for sponsoring 3 people and you'd all have passes to last until next August. The reduction in price for sponsoring is only 10% though compared to the 20% you would have got.

You can also get similar discounts by becoming a shareholder. That may be worth pursing as another avenue. :thumbsup2

Are your tickets date-specific?

If not you could flog them on Ebay and use the money to buy annual passes.

you can't if you booked them with a package as they are only valid for length of stay.

Wideyes is right I remember checking this for someone when we came back last year. Your passes you get have a date range of a week on them which covers your stay.
