I have no clue what constitutes a good Disdeal. We are a party of 2 adults & 2 children. I can put together a 5day/4nt value room, tix, free DDP pin, airfare from chicago for $2100. Does that sound good? The airfare with taxes would be $180 pp. How low does it go? I haven't flown anywhere in 9 years...

That's a good deal. We fly from Chicago down to MCO a couple of times a year. If we can fly for under $200 a person, I am happy. I am guessing you are flying Southwest, which means no luggage fees. Have we paid less, sure but only with really strange circumstances.

Free dining at Disney is a good deal, where else can you get food and a hotel room for your family for that daily price?

If you are going to rent a car, check out the mousesavers website for deals, if you plan to take the "magical bus" you won't need that expense.

You may also want to consider staying longer on property, extra days on your tickets are about $3 per day. If you have free dining, the only extra cost would be hotel nights, which I am guessing you are staying value means less than $100 per night.

For example: if your schedule permitted you could extend you vacation by hotel room 2 X nightly rate (I am using $100) + 4 times $3 times 2 days. Grand total $224.00, the extra days may make your vacation a little less hurried.

The Values have specifics posted for the DDPs and that is a very helpful tip as you will enjoy the food court choices. We stay at the ASMo every year (just got back a month ago!). I don't know your location but the Rockford/Chicago International airport is a gem--free parking and stress free as compared to Ohare, Midway, and Orlando International. Our base tix on Allegient were $79 but the fees really eat you up, so I would agree that $200 pp is very good! Don't overpack--the values have great laundry facilities right next to the pools and you can do a quick load while you swim. We will definately be "downsizing" our luggage quantity again next summer if the checked bag fees continue to rise. Have a wonderful time and keep reading and questioning on the disboards
