Would these words hurt you??

My friend in my town of four or five years said these words to me last night....."I never think of you unless I'm driving by your house".... "then I tend to call you." I enjoy talking to her and see her and her family from time to time since we're in the same circles of life in some ways.

I guess I'm a wierd bird for even writing to you all about your opinion but it hurt me that she said that yet I think of her probably 10 times a day.

I just don't know how I feel about it but I guess it brings back memories of my past.

Don't let it bother you, she is probably just so busy with her own family that she has narrow vision for other relationships. You now know where you stand, smile and quit thinking of her so often.

I can understand what she means... but that doesn't mean it was right to say!!

My best friend since 5th grade (I'm 21) blew me off after her grandmother (who she lived with in Florida, while attending college) passed away. I sent a card, called, etc.. but it was like she was dead to the world.

I sent her a wedding announcement. Nothing.
I called, sent messages, e-mails, etc. Nothing.


...She found out I was pregnant and FINALLY she contacted me.
I just told her that if I wasn't worth her time before, she wasn't worth my time now. I told her she could feel free to explain herself, I would listen, but that was how I felt. If she couldn't explain it, I didn't want to hear another word.
I've not heard from her sense, but not a big deal to me.

Hurt like crap but I'm better off knowing thats who she really was. I want a friend that is ALWAYS there not just when she actually has an interest in what is happening in my life.


I'm sorry you're hurting. It's hard.

Depending on her situation, I might not or might be hurt.

If she's running around with her head chopped off with a divorce, sick family member, or something just as emotionally tolling I could understand.
If she's going around happy-go-lucky, then yeah I'd be hurt.
