Primetime is at 8pm right now. Place is packed with many waiting outside for an hour. Even with a magic key, you'll still wait half an hour, so try to go at 6pm if you want a shorter wait. Otherwise you just walk around City walk for half an hour with a beeper. At 8pm, the place is jumping. They play Buffett videos on the overhead screens, and there are stilt walkers going thru the crowd. When the volcano goes off, it's a noisy place as everyone cheers. When you leave, buy a frozen drink at the outside bar for the walk back to your hotel room. I'm sure some will say their visit was just ok, but we had a great time.

Margaritaville is our favorite restaurant at Citywalk. Not so much for the food, but because of the fun, festive atmosphere. As Robvia said above, when the place is hopping, it is a blast. The stiltwalkers are making balloon hats/sculptures for the kids, the crowd yells the chorus of "cheeseburger in paradise" whenever they play the song, the cheering when the volcano erupts, etc.

I tried to pay the stiltwalkers for the elaborate balloon hats they made for my three kids, but they would have nothing of it. Wouldn't even take a tip.

And of course, the "cheeseburger in paradise" burger is quite good.

my fiancee and I ate at Margaritaville last year for the first right before we headed to HHN and we really enjoyed it. Like everyone else has mentioned, the atmosphere is very fun and festive, especially if ur a huge Jimmy Buffett fan like we are. The food is great my fiancee had a cheeseburger in paradise which looked very yummy and he definetely enjoyed and I had peel and eat shrimp, which I loved, it had its own spicy kick to it. very yummy... We also ordered the big Margarita souvenier cup from them and had a very yummy Margarita. We were able to refill those cups anywhere in City Walk, which was great since we were hitting HHN that same night. We definetely recommend this restaurant, its a must do in our list everytime we go to Universal. :thumbsup2

Best Nacho's at Universal. A meal in itself with lots of jalopeno's Great Atmosphere and Friendly Service. Food is good. Enjoy and have fun.

I love love love the "Jamaica Mistaica" wings.....yummy!

:drinking1 HOLD ON... LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT........
These Margatita cups that you got and could get refilled anywhere in CityWalk..............DO YOU MEAN WITH MARGATITAS?????????!!!!!!!!!!
Man , I hope that's what you're sayin'! If so, how much for the original purchase and the refills? TIA

the menu's more family friendly than the one in Key West, but it's still very good. we usually get a combo order of the Jamaica Mistaica and Clipper wings. the nacho's are huge. they've got good conch fritters as well. I like the jerk chicken and the crab cakes. my wife likes the cuban meatloaf.

it's our favorite Citywalk restaurant by far, we'll see how Bubba Gump's compares.

Caribbean Chicken Salad yummy. And anyone of the Rita's.

Kae

Volcano Nachos and Margaritas!!! I will be there next week - can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe, that's what it is. :confused3 We love the Margaritaville in KW, but not the one at CW. The conch fritters in KW are "to die for". Not so much @ CW. In our opinion anyway. I had some of the worst "Campbell" soup I've ever eaten at the Margaritaville @ CW. ;) No kidding! It tasted just like canned soup.

the one in Key West is one of a kind, the one in Citywalk is 'Americanized'. the conch is good at Citywalk, not great. but how many tourists in Orlando order conch anyway? the menu in KW is stripped down and they've got the best t-shirts. ;)

we still like the Citywalk location over the other selections, not including Emeril's properties.

the chicken quesadillas are awesome and the $6 nachos are HUGE!!! We loved the atmosphere, selection, quality and price of the food...heck, we ate there 2x in the 5 days we were there.....here's some pics:

I was wondering where you were. I thought there must be something terribly wrong for you not to have "promoted" the product by now. :rotfl2: You're slipping! Looks like I'm going to have to give Jimmy a call myself. I may be able to work out a really good deal, now that you're falling down on the job. :lmao:

Great pics, BTW ;)

I went there 2 years ago. It was good, but I wasn't really impressed. We all thought that Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City were better. It's not bad or anything, it's definitley worth checking out.

I wanna check out Bubba Gump's.
