preferably from the 23rd-26th of December, so we can actually spend christmas day there.
Will there be any christmas offers up any time soon? When I try to look at what the Disneyland Hotel would be for just one night, 24th-25th (wouldnt be able to afford all 3 nights there so wouldnt mind spending a night and waking up there, would be lovely) but it says it's unavailable on the site. Is it sold out or have they just not put the christmas season pricings up yet?
Also, is it worth being in a disney hotel for christmas as offsite is of course a lot cheaper!

Just had a look and Christmas is up. DLH for one night is £1200 for 3 adults. Its very rare they actually do deals for the actual Christmas period though

We've gone the last few years at end of nov/beggining of december which is the "christmas period" at DLP. It's always been lovely and quiet and we've always got good deals (40-50% off, 2 nights free etc)...

I do think its very unlikely you'll get anything like that kind of discount checking in onsite at DLP over Christmas itself.

If you book before August 25th you'll get the 2 nights & 2 days FREE early booking offer :thumbsup2

Not for the dates he wants. The 2 days/2 nights free is suspended from 21st December - 3rd January. I cannot remember DLP having any special offers over Christmas as it is the peak of peak times.

Also, I would imagine that the DLH (and probably other hotels too) will not let a room for a single night on 24th December as this is when Europeans (other than the UK) actually celebrate Christmas. Most establishments would expect at least a 2 or 3 night booking over this period.

Is that for over the Christmas period including Christmas Day? I know they do deals for Christmas season but none is usually for actual Christmas

You can get it for 1 night, it's about £1200 for 3 adults staying 24th dec

We're staying off site from the 23rd til the 27th :-) Christmas is special this year to us but we can't justify onsite prices, even with our AP. The major thing concerning us is the price to eat a "Christmas" meal - they can stick that and we'll have Annettes ;)

We went in 2009 the exact dates that you are looking at the 23rd - 26th December. It was cold, frosty in a morning and it even rained for a couple of hours on Christmas Day. It was a bit surreal though eating Mickey burgers for Christmas Lunch :lmao:. We also booked the buffet at Santa Fe on Christmas eve and wondered why there were characters around, we had not took our camera and then someone reminded me what day it as:rotfl2:

But the kids loved it especially the snow on Main street, back then I thought that it would have been busier on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and Boxing Day (but things may have changed since then). They also enjoyed the walk from Santa Fe to the parks as they were playing with the ice that was also still on the ground.

We did enjoy it so this year have booked from the 29th December to the 3rd January to see what the new year is like but from reports I have read it looks like New Years Eve will be very busy. Secretly I do hope it does snow just a little bit as I would love to get some snowy pics of the parks.:thumbsup2

During the past few years there has never been an offer over the christmas season, believe me I've looked, I would love to be at the park for christmas :)

Me too but it's not just the price putting me off I have very little chance of getting leave for Christmas as we are only allowed 6 people off over christmas
