Does anyone have a recent review/pics of Teppan Edo? We would like to do this place in Dec, but would like to have some info before I do.

Any links would be good as well.

Thanks is advance!

I have the review of it in my DR, which is in my siggy.

We loved it! :lovestruc We're going back for our honeymoon this summer.

I actually can't recall hearing bad things about it. I'm sure someone has had a bad experience. I've just never read about it.

We love this restaurant and ate there many times before the refurb and once since then. It is the typical jokes you always hear at a Japanese restaurant...Japanese egg roll, volcano, etc. However, we love to book dinner before Illuminations and watch it from the upper deck of the restaurant after we eat.

The food has always been great and the CM very friendly. I only wish they had fried rice with the veggies and egg added.

I don't have any pictures or reviews, but it's AMAZING. It is by far some of the best hibachi food I've ever had in my life. The chicken is delicious, the staff is amazing & I love the atmosphere.

we ate there last year and will be going again this year the food is very good and we had alot of fun :thumbsup2 give it a try

Hey there Habg1 ...

Teppan Edo ... the family and I ate there once and I will agree with the folks on this board that the food was very good, however, our stories sort of part ways there.

IF ... IF ... if you have a car or a means to go off property I STRONGLY recommend you do so on this occasion. Teppan Edo is a hibachi style restaurant and while the food was very good there was simply not enough of it and my family and I left that meal after paying $$$ and STILL felt hungry.

You will find many great reviews of the Kobe (An off-property hibachi chain) that is very good. If you go off property you will get more food, get a better show, and spend less money!

That's just my opinion but it's something I feel you should be aware of! Keep in mind that Disney has a nasty little habit of charging more simply because it's "Disney" and this is one of those cases!

HOPE this helps in some way ... if I can be of any further assistance PLEASE do not hesitate to ask!

Have A Magical Day!

Thanks all for advice & opinions. Husband and I are trying to get our dining reservations in a row before our 90 day window. Where to eat??? Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, where oh where?

We did Le Cellier last year & liked it, but want to try somewhere different.

Thanks again all!

There is a review from September in my dining report (link in my signature). I really enjoy it and plan to be back again in October.
