(OK not TACKY but too...unusual)? Held my post wedding lunch @ whispering canyon cafe? It would just be so SO much easier to head back to our hotel after the ceremony and since Artist point isn't open.... What do y'all think? I know DF will be like :headache: ...We were going to have our meal in the park, but Grandma doesn't want to go to the park. So, we need hotel restaurant that's easy to get to....THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had ours there, none of our guests had any idea what it'd be like - I thought they would pick on us more :confused3 :rotfl2:

As long as you do what you want, that's the whole point isn't it?

The food is great but maybe a little messy if you go for the all you care to eat.

We had quite a small party, 9 including us. I thought it was fun and very convenient for us as we got married at Sunrise Terrace and were staying in the villas.

I hope you both have a wonderful time whatever you choose :goodvibes

I think it is a great choice if that is what you want.. I had just suggested it to my dh the other night and he said no casue he isnt riding the pony or singing in front of all those other ppl..lol

Oh, that would be fun!!!! We had ours at 1900 Park Fare, I had never thought of WCC!

If you guests are in their wedding attire that may be a little concerning if they are accident prone like me. With all of the BBQ sauce that is! How about the Grand Cafe or something on the Boardwalk like Flying Fish or Spoodles? I think my main concern would be the BBQ sauce. I know the others are not a flat rate and all you can eat.

my rehearsal dinner is at Whispering Canyons!! I loved the idea.. it was a great way to break the ice with everyone because of the atmosphere in the restaraunt. Plus this will be the first time mine and Df's parents will meet, so it will also serve as a great distraction in case things don't go to well!!

WCC is one of our favorite places to eat! We love it!! Make sure they ask for Ketchup!!

Well, I am super clumsy for sure  ...it will definitely be a mess, but it seems like the easiest thing for us to do since we are staying there and all. Now wondering if WL will be a good place for pics?????

I'm not familiar with that restaurant - -why would that be taboo? (except for the BBQ sauce, I saw mentioned... yikes :headache: )

We were married at WL - it is a gorgeous place to take pictures! There's the bridge in the lobby, a bridge outside, waterfall, and the dock. Lots of pretty places for wedding photos! We had brunch at Whispering Canyon the morning after our wedding. My dad wasn't able to walk much at the time so we didn't want to have to go anywhere other than the hotel. Brunch was perfect! Even my cranky aunt had a fun time :rotfl:

Ok where is your wedding again?

Thanks for the pic tips J&J! I was starting to panic! The actual ceremony will be @ the Swan but we are staying at the WL. That's why I am going for easy;) I originally wanted the GFC, then I heard a few horror stories...THEN Fresh at the Swan but DF thought the food a bit "imaginative" for him.....It's tough with the ceremony time of 10:am. Kinda rules alot of restaurants out b/c so few do lunch. SO..........here we are, 50ish days away and I am just starting to solidly make plans. I am terrified that I will dump food on myself, as I am quite **AHEM**, "curvy" up top, and quite "clumsy" all over....:headache:
