I posted yesterday that I may get to ake my 14 year old niece to WDW. It looks like if we go some where, it will have to be around 01/01/03-01/05/03. Since the parks close so early, will it be worth it? Last year I was there 12/30-01/06 and the lines were long. (I usually go in the summer and was expecting much shorter)

My other thought- can't believe I will say this- is to take her to Las Vegas so we can go to the Cirque du Soleil show, Special FX, Sigfrield and Roy.....

We don't want to go skiing and I have no clue. I think we would have fun doing Cirque at WDW, Adventurer's Club, Spa at GF..... but since she has only been once, would this be too short for her to enjoy?

No flames, just ideas. PLEASE

Oh, one other thing.....she is a TEENAGER who loves to sleep late. That may be different if we are someplace, but who knows.

I hoe to take her younger sister some place later and then her little brother. If we do WDW now and I can get a short trip in this summer for her sister (if I have $) then I can justify getting the AP :)

You're so sweet to do this for your niece!!!

I vote for Disney World - hands down.. Could be due to the fact that I love the place so much, but at her age I really think she would enjoy it more..

If you get to the parks early you can get a lot accomplished in the number of hours that you have.. For me, I wouldn't care if there were lines for EVERYTHING because I feel like I'm in a fairyland just being there!

Go and have a great time!! :)

I like either idea, but if it was me, I think I would lean towards Vegas if you see a longer vacation in the future for WDW. If not, then I would say WDW. :D

Good luck with your decision. :D
