Would Disney ever replace Indiana Jones Show with Indiana Jones Ride?

I get some people like that show but I feel it's so played out. And there is almost no point in seeing it twice.

So I'm wondering if in the future there is any chance Disney replaces it with either the Indy ride in DL or the Indy ride in Paris? And would you want them to?

I don't think one would necessarily require that the other not be there in order to exist.

They could certainly build an Indiana Jones Adventure RIDE
and not HAVE to close the stage show.

I'm not sure but I think I've heard that the Dinosaur ride at AK is really the same ride as the Indy ride at DL, just different theming.

Same vehicles and ride system but that doesn't mean they can't add the Indy ride, like Spider Man and Transformers at Universal same vehicles and ride system, one at Universal and one in IOA.I would have no issue if they removed the Indy show for the ride, the show has been there forever and I rarely ever see it,with the amount of changes happening at DHS I can't imagine once the new lands start opening up that the long range plans for the park include the show.I understand it has to stick around until new attractions start showing up to give people something to do but I have to imagine Disney will have plans for something new there, they're basically making changes to like 75% of the park,a 30 year old show would just feel weird and out of place.

It is, EXCEPT, compared to the actual scenes and interactions of the Disneyland Indy ride, Dinosaur is a dud.

Basically same but the Indy ride is far superior, IMO.

Agree! Indy ride awesome, Dinosaur sorta blows. I understand that Disney wanted to cash-in on the dinosaur craze, but it's just loud and annoying. The Indy ride at DLR is very cool.

I am in the minority but I prefer Dinosaur to Indy at DLR. I guess I was expecting to be blown away by the Indy ride after reading about it on the DIS but after riding it I didn't understand the hype of why it was so much better. Dinosaur is one ride that still terrifies me and usually have my eyes closed for much of the ride lol. Different strokes for different folks. Though doesn't mean they can't still make an Indy ride at HS, but I do agree it's time to retire the show.

I'm a Dinosaur fan, too. Love those AAs, and I've always been crazy about dinosaurs. I just hope they fixed the Carnotaurus since we were there last (2014, should be enough time).

As for the Indy show, love the opening sequence, but those tired jokes...ugh. Imagine if they replaced it with a plussed, advanced version of the Indy rides in other resorts. It would be almost as big a draw as Pandora.

I'd love for the Indy ride from Disneyland to come East. Sure it uses the same ride vehicle as CTX, but the ride itself is so much better. The track layout is a big improvement, and the huge open room with the bridge is amazing. Plus most of the ride is actually lit instead of just traveling through the dark until you come across another vaguely lit dino.

We saw the stunt show this week. We love the show. I hope they keep it! It's the 1 thing at DHS that's at the top of the list with everyone in our family.

As for dinosaur... it's a good ride. But, it's a bit dated. Kids called it a Jurassic Park clone. That side of park needs a stronger anchor.

I like the DL ride, but not blown away by it.
I like the AK ride, but not blown away by it.....always ride it though.
Seen the show too many times and now skip it almost always

I've pined for an Indy ride in adventureland (doesn't need to be a copy of the Disneyland one) for a while. I could see the studios show being changed though.

In this day of IP promotion I doubt we'll see a new ride in the parks that isn't part of an active ongoing film series. Are there more Indy movies coming?

I definitely could see the stunt show going away since they seem to be moving away from the how movies are made theme. I personally would love the Indy ride to come to WDW since it is one of may all time favorite Disney rides, although I am skeptical that it will.

I think there's a 5th Indy movie coming, so this could happen. I love both rides, so I'd be cool with another one and HS is going to need all the capacity possible once SW opens and then immediately gets to capacity and you've got loads of pissed people milling around in HS.

I do really love how silly Dinosaur is though "we're not going to make it" is something I say often.

I'm all for replacing the Indy stunt show. I go mostly every year and I've grown tired of it. The past few trips I've just skipped it and said "We'll see it in a few years", not even the next trip "a few years". It was good back in the day, but its just gotten too old and predictable. You figure they would change it up or something. But, nope it's still the same old thing.

Even the best episodes of your favorite shows would get boring if you watched it over and over again. I could probably do the show blindfolded as Indy or Marion.

I love the Indy ride in Cali, it is a lot like "Dinosaur" at Animal Kingdom, but better. I'd go with something even bigger though. I'd put a Cars Land where the Echo Lake area currently is. This way they can still keep the 50's stuff like "50's Prime" and "Sci Fi".

Cool! I'd love to see more Indy. Maybe this one would feature Indy's grandson or something?

I have no desire to see the Indy stunt show again. It will be very nice if they put in something different there. A show or ride something new.
