Would anybody here be interested in a Willy Wonka chocolate factory ride/island?

I always thought the boat ride from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' could make for a incredible ride at a park.

Something similar too it anyways, maybe half 3D half rollercoaster water ride.

The outside of the ride or main portion of the 'island' could be the exterior of the factory from the film.

The main tower could even house for a ride similar to Dr. Doom's free fall. Could be a flying Glass Elevator free ride.

If they made the factory structure big enough they could have rooms in it mirroring the famous rooms from the films. The Main Candy Room, Nut Room, Inventing Room. Could house a restaurant and rest rooms and whatnot.

Would be an interesting idea.

Oh would really love this. I wonder why nobody has ever done anything like it?

I don't know. Depends on who owns the rights to Willy Wonka.

Toothsome might work for you. The new restaurant reminds me of the original Willy Wonka film. Gene Wilder of course Classic.

The original was done by Paramount and the remake was done by Warner Bros. It would depend on if any of those companies would let Universal borrow their likeness of their concepts in order to make a park, or attraction. If they wanted to create something unique that was inspired by the books itself, they would have to get permission from Roald Dahl's estate. That being said, either way I would love either concept, whether based off of film, or the books. But Universal, has been moving on to "bigger and better" things by getting rid of the old and in with the new (which Wonka would be more likely to be made back then rather than now) and IoA is based off of lands off a concept of an entire world/universe, not just one character, or film. So, the idea of Wonka fitting in either park isn't realistic unfortunately.

I have always felt that guests should be able to submit ideas for new rides and or restaurants etc, but if you do, you will get your letter/idea returned to you "unread" from their legal department. They have a policy just like Disney where they don't accept "Unsolicited Ideas" so you can't make any future claims for compensation due to it being your "intellectual property".
