If you are going next month, like we are and plan on going again in the fall like we want to. And for your fall trip, already contacted an agent and put a DP on the trip, would you switch over to this? Or wait it out to see if anything better will come along? Guests staying at a select Walt Disney World Resort Hotel between 11/8/06 and 12/31/06 can take advantage of a special package offer for travel between 8/5/07 and 9/29/07 with a minimum stay of three nights. This promotion is intended to get current guests to book a future Disney vacation for the low season in 2007 before they check out.
Sample pricing:
5 night/5 day vacation package includes a standard room at a Value Resort, a Magic Your Way Base Ticket and the Disney Dining Plan. Other resorts and lengths of stay are available at varying rates. Rates for the sample package start at $453 per adult, which is a savings of $194. The discount is approximately equivalent to the cost of the Dining Plan, so this is a variation on "free dining."
Only four of the Disney resorts (Beach Club, Contemporary, Pop Century and Port Orleans - Riverside) will be actively promoting this program through in-room marketing, signage and merchandise receipts, but reportedly any guest staying at a Walt Disney World resort between 11/8/06 and 12/31/06 will be able to book a special package. To qualify, you must book and pay a deposit prior to checkout.
To book this package, you can go to the "Your Next Disney Vacation" desks located in the lobbies of the Beach Club Resort and Port Orleans - Riverside Resort. Guests at Pop Century Resort and Contemporary Resort will receive a phone number to call to book the special package.
If you usually work with a specific travel agency, you can specify when booking that the agency should be assigned your reservation.
