Would adults only enjoy the Family Magic Tour?

I am looking for something a little "special" for DH and I to do on our last day at WDW. Thought that the FMT sounded good, but the more I read into it, the more it seems that it is mainly for little kids. Has anyone done this without their kids and if so, did you enjoy it? Thanks.

We did it with our kids for my DD's Birthday. It really depends, DH and I would not enjoy this without the kids. Dont get me wrong it was a great tour/adventure, but it is really geared twords kids. If it were only DH and I we would do one of the other tours.

I think it would depend on how "adult" you are. I can act like a kid sometimes, but would probably feel uncomfortable spending a good chunk of my day going on a treasure hunt with a bunch of kids. But, that's just me. I would definitely recommend the KTTK tour for you and your dh though, assuming you $58pp and 5 hours to spare.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but can someone tell me what the "Family Magic Tour" is? We are going in Dec with my 2yr old and 4 yr old and interested in doing something different with them. Is this tour appropriate for them? Thanks for the info!

The tour would be fantastic for them. Here is a link to the section of allearsnet.com that describes the tours.

ETA: And here's the link to Janet2k's review of the tour along with pics. Look for post titled "Day 2: Grand Floridian (Part 2)".

DD7 and I just did this tour about a week ago. It was fun for us as a pair, but I wouldn't recommend it to adults without kids. It's not just geared towards kids, it's designed around kids with parents - half the fun for the kids is looking for the clues, the other half is watching the parents skip down the paths or have to act like a character or some such. It's not geared towards actually learning anything....... and without kids along to laugh at Mom or Dad acting like Goofy, it just wouldn't appeal to me as an adult.

Lol i remember on the old silver Dreammaker plan i wanted to book this tour for myself not knowing who or what the audience was geared for. Fortunately for me the Cm told me that she did nor think i would enjoy it that
much so i booked the Animation tour instead. :earsboy: ::MickeyMo

We did the Family Magic Tour 2 days ago - on Friday. I agree; half the fun was watching my DD's face (she's 5 years old) when I did silly stuff. It is definitely for the children...but we had a ball, as adults!

I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone with young children - perhaps 10 years old and younger! It was TOO fun!
