You can. But easier than that is to charge the tip to the room via the MB and then pay off the room charges with the gift cards. That way, no need to carry the cards around and no worries about $1 here and $5 there

I'm hoping the construction keeps folks away too but it seems like a lot of people are now booking to get the gift cards.
