Worth going on the 1st Sat. in Feb, or should we go that Mon or Tues?

Trying plan our one day trip to both parks as we will be spending the rest of our days in Disney.

If we dared to try and do both parks, with the fast pass option, on that first Sat. in Feb. would we be able to do most of the rides? (We are not show people per say). I have 3 thrill seeking kids who want to do nothing else but hit as many rides as they can.

Thoughts on trying to go that Sat. or just push it back to Mon or Tues, which kind of messes up our plans a bit.

Early February is pretty slow so it won't matter which days you visit. Weekends are a little busier since there are more locals who go on the weekends but it shouldn't make a huge difference. If you are OK with not doing everything in both parks, you should have no problems doing what you want but get there early and don't purchase Express Plus passes ahead of time...you probably won't need them.

I was there mid-November, and though that time of year is pretty slow as well, there was a remarkable difference between mid-week and the weekend. Given a choice, I'd choose mid-week, hands-down. Rides were nearly ALL walk-on. We were able to make GREAT use of our time on Tues-Wed-Thurs.... but Friday and Saturday we were NOT able to be so efficient because of the increased crowds.

Either way, have fun!! :)

Is a 9 day at Universal the same as a 9 day at Disney? I'm terribly upset because our Universal days fall right in the middle of President Week and I'm afraid the park will be mobbed!
