Worth going in May 2016

I've been planning a trip to the World for several years. It is at the end of May for a variety of reasons, including Star Wars Weekends. Now, I'm not sure it's worth going. 2 of my favorite rides are down for refurb, not sure if "Frozen Ever After " will be open, and half of HS is closed.
Is anyone else going in May? Do you think it's worth spending 2 weeks there with all the work being done?

We were planning a trip in May 2016, but for the reasons you mentioned, we are thinking we may postpone OR head west to DLR (we live closer so would be less $$). However, if enough people put off trips next year, then the crowds would be lower and that might make going worth it. Not sure lol...still trying to decide also.

Agree about the crowds but we are cancelling May as well. So many things are closed. I think we've decided not to renew annual passes for next year as well. In talking with other annual pass holders it wasnt the best time to increase prices.

It was a very stupid time to raise prices. I don't know why they think people would pay so much more for so much less.If I make the decision not to go, it will be a very heartbreaking one. We've been waiting 6 years for this next trip. Hadn't thought about the lower crowd level, that would be a boost.

I was hoping to go the last weekend in May for SWW. But if they aren't having it, I won't go because we are already going in April.

So far the website says they're having SWW. My husband still wants to go for that..

I booked the end of May for SWW and it looks like it might not happen so I sent a email to Guest Services I doubt it will make a difference since they know if they are going to have it by now.
I usually go every year for SWW and would be really disappointed if they don't have it.
I will probably still go since my AP expires early June and I don't plan on renewing it, it won't be the same with the SW shows.
