Worth adding extra week?

your description sounds lovely, thank you, I will ring as soon as disney open and request there, I know it's not guaranteed but worth trying and it was the lady at disney who suggested it so fingers crossed! Would you know if the bus from there is ok, there are a few mixed reviews for this resort so would be handy to know which bus stop is best to use!

I have stayed at POR twice and POFQ twice. They can share buses but certainly do not always do so. The buses from POFQ pick up first when they share and either way I think the POR East depot is the last pick up point from the resorts. As such it's likely to be full/er when you get on it. I guess it largely depends what head space you are in about the buses. My view is they are public transport and for public transport they do a good job. We tend to use buses and a hire car and if I choose the bus I just chill with what that brings. On the whole, I find them fine from POR for MK, Epcot and DHS but tend to use the car for AK. We always use the car to go from POR to another hotel to eat. My own experience of POR buses is more good than bad, but we always stay in a preferred room near the main bus stop.

Aww not quite sure what to do now as we wasn't going to hire a car, is it too far to walk to the main bus stop?

On our last trip we saw buses for both resorts at every park. I remember being at Epcot waiting for SSR bus and two POR buses went by and one POFQ.

I have rang Disney back and booked the extra week at £957 so a bit cheaper, we have gone for a garden room in magnolia terrace requesting close to the main building as poss, still get to keep the $100 gift card and the free dining so all good and can chill out and look forward to it now (57 days! :cool1:)

No we have done it just fine without a car too. But without a car I would not be travelling from the resort to another one for a meal. It takes too long as you have to go to a park to change buses. There are always taxis of course.

That's gud then thank you, I doubt we will be eating at other resorts anyway, we usually end up in the disney marketplace most nights!
