Worst thing you ever ate at Disney?

The current Disney World facebook question about the best thing you have ever eaten at Disney World unfortunately immediately reminded me of the worst. LOL

Fulton's Crab House
Clam Chowder

Oh...dear...bringing spoon to my mouth...ahhhhhh, look at that very large yummy potato...mmmmmmmm...WHAT THE?!

Yeah, it wasn't a potato. It was a *huge* clump of flour...only flour, nicely wrapped in clam chowder broth. It was my fault for not cutting the "potato" in half, but it looked so delicious. What I got was the worst, most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. If you have never had a completely full mouthful of pure gluey, wet flour...you won't understand. Blech! :rotfl:

Germany in Epcot!!!!!!!!! I got food poisoning there last May!!!!!!

Tuna Sandwich at Columbia Harbor House (and some people rave about it??)
Hamburger at Backlot Express DHS
Chicken Curry at Studio Catering Company DHS

In October 2010, I ordered the fig and (something) bread pudding from WCC for my dessert. Apparently, it did not last very long, as it is no longer in the wdwinfo menus andymore. It was so horrible the waitress immediately came back and offered for me to order a different dessert at no extra charge!!!! :rotfl2: She must have known how horrible it was!

:thumbsup2 DH and I are not picky eaters and can pretty much down anything.....

Except Rose and Crown Fish and Chips for me...like Ms. Pauls with regular ole fries...what the @&^@*$% !! We ate on the inside and where sitting next to a precious Mother and 6yr old little boy from England. He woofed it down then moose licked his plate. Mom said he had been starving and they had been in the States 2 weeks. This was the first meal he had really eaten. Seems the American food was just too rich. Imean that plate was clean...I really wanted to give him mine....but...DH still asks me if I want fish and chips when we walk by...he gets the LOOK.

Worst dessert was at Cali Grill in 2009. We ordered some kind of flavored cremes---beautifully described on the menu. I swear when they came to the table I was shocked. There were three lumps of gray, pale yellow and another color baby food consistancy cremes. I ate a small bite of each as did my DH and BIL---we all hated it. I mean how could anyone think that something of that consistancy would be appealing after the Filet of Beef. I saw a similar something on the menu this year and DH and I avoided it.

Best food HDDR, 50's hand dipped shakes and dungeness crab claws at Fulton's.

Just had it tonight. the meatball sub at the Pinocchio Haus. Disgusting! And my son didn't like the kids mac and cheese either. And he use to love the Mickey mac and cheese. But then, he also just ate the remains of a Le Cellier mac and cheese before we left for MK, so that could explain a lot.

Never will I have counter service there again.

Wow, that is a toss up.... either,

#3 - Cold, greasy noodles in China

The noodles definitely shouldn't have been cold.
Noodles we ate in Jiangxi, China were on the oily side - but they were also sour, spicy, and a bit salty/sweet. And I ate them for breakfast every day we were there! :p

As for WDW food, there has been some adequate food - but nothing absolutely horrible. The only thing that comes to mind as "not again" would be the pizza at Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom. It's just Disney's bland pizza. Though Pizzafari does have incredible decor. I've taken a couple strolls through there with the kiddos and DH just to check out the animals on the walls.

Me: the kosher chicken nuggets at Cosmic Ray's (got them by accident!)

Other than that, we've enjoyed almost all the food we've had there. Some things are just OK, but nothing I thought was truly bad, except the above.

As you are describing this, I'm picturing in my mind the poor person waiting for his kosher chicken. I hope they didn't give him your pork instead.:lmao::rotfl:

The vegetable barley risotto at Akershus. Now maybe I just don't like the taste of barley (had never had it before), but it was bitter. I couldn't even manage a 2nd bite.

Next on my list are the tap water and ice cubes at MK.

How about crow? I told my husband a million times he would not get a walk up at a TS restaurant but he always does :rotfl:

TOTALLY agree!!! I got so sick from that place and on the boat ride back to the POR I had to jump off at PORQ for a pit stop!!! Ohhh my poor stomach! :rotfl2::rotfl2:
Really tho, it was awful!!

Ribs at Sci-Fi in DHS...so greasy, gave me a stomach ache.
The entire dinner buffet at Cape May Cafe...and everything else about the experience. Terrible.

Of course, not all meals have been award-winning (though many have been outstanding!), but for the most part, none have been beyond terrible like those above.

So far, it's the breakfast I ate at BC Marketplace. I was actually pretty nice in my dining review. The more I think about it, the more grossed out I get. I mean, how you manage to make ham tasteless and french toast that doesn't taste any better than plain bread, I don't know.

I can honestly saw that the worst meal DH and I ever ate while in Disney was at Earl of Sandwich.

We were disappointed because we heard nothing but raves about this place.

Can you remember what you ordered? I am just floored to read that EOS served up the WORST meal you have ever eaten at WDW!

We think it's exceptionally tasty!
