OP, what does it matter to you anyway? People walking around on phones doesn't affect your trip.

I think the worst part is that the ripple is a completely new phenomenon. Prior to FP+ and smartphones everyone always paid attention to their surroundings always, particularly at Walt Disney World.

Are you saying if it wasn't for FP+ people wouldn't be staring at their phone all day long?

This isn't a FP related problem, just normal 2014 behavior. I challenge you to go into a restaurant in any city in America and not find tables full of people staring at there phones without saying a word to each other.

ETA: Just giving you a hard time, I wish people didn't have their heads buried in their phones all day long but it's just a fact of life now.

They are probably waiting for the app to load or trying for the millionth time to reconnect to wifi. This has been my issue all day and I'm currently in the magic kingdom!

No offense, but you can just ignore them on their phones. I barely noticed anyone on their phones, but I was focused on what I was going to do next or on my family, rather then what everyone else was doing.
