Worst movie ever

It has to be Eyes Wide Shut with Tom and the former Mrs C it was horrendously awful I did not understand what was happening from the second it started until the torture ended. :confused3

Stuck On You was another nightmare! :sad2:

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl. Awful...too bad DS completely loves it...UGH!

Nacho Libre

I lost 2 hours of my life last night due to this crap......it was soooooo disgustingly bad! :sad2:

This one is long ago - probably early 80's or even late 70's - it was called "Coming At Ya" and was in 3D and was a cheesy western. It was so bad that to this day our family rates movies against it - no matter how bad the movie, it is never as bad as "Coming At Ya"!

----
I just Googled it - It was 1981. It is actually availabe on DVD at Amazon! Aargh - I can't believe it actually made it to DVD. :badpc:

I can't remember the name....it starred Winona Ryder and Richard Gere. They fell in love and she had some kind of heart condition and died. Winona's acting in that movie was atrocious, truly awful.

Autumn in New York

For me, The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. All the critics went on and on about how cool it was and it was awful!

The Blair Witch Project....scary? puh-lease, I hoped the college kids would be caught and killed so the movie would end!

The New Poseidon Adventure....DH and I were hysterically laughing the whole time (quietky of course). I think Kurt Russell should win an Oscar for the hokiest death scene ever!

Gee, I've seen so many bad movies in my life. Currently, I'd have to vote for Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. DD6 owes me big time for that,

Although I did take her to see The Cat in the Hat, which was beyond bad, it was evil.

Of course, this doesn't count really bad Italian sword-and-sandal epics, such as Seven Slaves Against the World, nor cheapo-cheapo SF epics, such as The Green Slime, which wasn't even funny.

I have to agree with the Cat in the Hat. The adult humor in it was very obbvious we went with my little brothers and sisters and all of my little cousions. they loved it but I did fell sorry for the one set of parents who's daughter noticed that the second car that they told the name of spelled a bad word well the one little girl asked what it ment. I wouldn't want to have to explain that one.

Hannibal (I wish I had walked out, but I stuck around thinking it couldn't get any worse!)

Mystic River (about 1/4 into the movie, I knew who did it.)

Insomnia (what a snore!)

I fell asleep in the theater during:

Wolf
Jerry Maguire

I agree with a lot of your posts, but I have to admit - I cracked up at Me, Myself and Irene. I'm simple like that!

Absolute worst ever: Benchwarmers

Two recent films that showed some promise but blew it with horrible lame endings: High Tension; The King

so many to chose from but the one that stands out for me is the one that i went to sleep during which was The Godzilla remake with Matthew Broderick (sp?) what a terrible movie that was

LOL! You shoulda read my review of it last week. You made it two hours, I'm impressed w/your tenacity. I turned it off after 15 minutes. Even my 11 year old couldn't watch it.

Another vote for Howard the Duck - and I am embarrassed to even admit it. God, that movie was so awful.

I don't remember the name of the movie, but is starred Shaq. My boyfriend at the time just had to watch it! I didn't realize someone could be that bad at acting.

Kazam? haha i think he had a few others too but i don't remember off the top of my head

Joe vs. the Volcano with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I love those two actors, especially together, but that movie just didn't work.

Any of the Pokemon movies. Just painful to watch!

Hanging Up with Meg Ryan, Walter Mattheu (sp?) HATED IT, HATED IT, HATED IT! To compound the agony I had to sit through it on a flight to the west coast. THEN, on the return flight THEY STARTED IT AGAIN. :crazy2: I thought I was going to freak out. DH told me to stay calm, so I politely told the flight attendant that it was not the scheduled movie from west to east. (Plus I was all psyched to see the Denzel Washington movie that was supposed to be scheduled). She gave me this very rude look and finally acknowledged that they had the wrong movie. Then nothing......... more time went by, then I asked if we could please correct the movie, she said they would, but then they started getting beverages out instead. Nothing again......... I could barely stand it. I had to approach them a third time, and then she snapped at me and said "It''s already been on too long to change it now" in an extremely rude manner. Well, whose fault was that? It was one of the worst plane trips ever. I had to start drinking. Boy, did I have evil thoughts about that woman. :stir:
