What month is the WORST month to go to WDW? Take the poll and then feel free to specify WHY you picked the month you did. :)

I chose January. Seems like alot of rehabs are done then, waterparks and otherwise. Short park hours, with the exception of New Year's. Cool temps. Not my idea of a great WDW vacation time. :)

My vote is for July. I did a July trip about 14 years ago and still remember how hot it was. Never again.

Probably July-Everyone goes and it is supposed to be boiling.

I'd go every month of the year if I could! It's all what you make of it. In peak times you need a little patience, FP planning, plenty of hydration, and small meals throughout the day.
In cold weather all you need is a coat and pants! In hot weather, stop by the gas station or grocery for some water bottles, and wear light clothing.

We've made the most of different times of the year with our Seasonal Pass, the only month we abosoultely can't go is July... its totally blocked out. My family used to go in July all the time and we still ahd a blast.. at xmas and new years as well. Believe it or not I think the busier it is the easier it is to plan out the day! Especially with good FP management. You can easily make it through the whole day.

The absoulte worst time would be during a hurricane, but you can't really plan on those, so you have to take the day of being trapped in the hotel as it comes

I voted for June. we went last week of June last year and not only was it unbelievably hot and muggy, but the crowds were crazy, and it rained everyday!

I voted for July. I think this is the most crowded month of the summer with June being the next worst time to go. I do go in August sometimes, it is hot but I found the crowds not being that bad.

If I have to choose...January for the reasons you stated plus a big dose of Post Holiday Blahs.....I love to go anytime, including January :teeth: !

JULY ... Blistering, broiling, sun-poisoning, sweat-dripping weather. Not to mention the mobs from Brazil.

Hi all,
I vote the first week in July. OK, Orlando is hot in the summer. That, I can take somewhat. What I can't take is crowds, crowds, crowds. My fault for planning the trip over the 4th of July.

July for sure - hot and crowded. I actually love January! The weather is beautiful, never too hot, and the crowds are virtually nonexistent. Sure, there are some rehabs, but we know we'll be back again to catch what we missed. Sure, the hours are shorter, but that's only because you can get in as many rides and shows as you can in three times the time in July!

Heat is one thing, crowds are another. Add 'em up and you've got

I chose June- heat and thunderstorms make touring too difficult.

I vote for school vacation week in April. I just remember huge lines at every attraction. I'd imagine the heat is much worse in July though

Based on my experiences, I voted for June.

July. So hot and humid, and the crowd level is high. Makes for long waits for almost everything- the rides, the buses, the restaurants, even the bathrooms sometimes!

While January is much cooler and can be chilly/cold, it's never that bad. And by bad I mean a daytime high of less than 10 degrees with a windchill that makes it feel like below 0!

I'll take a daytime high in the 40's that I can put some more clothing layers on for to stay warm than the oppressively hot and humid temps of July or August that make you feel like you're walking on the surface of the sun and their aren't any more clothes you can take off to make yourself more comfortable!

You have to vote for July for 2 reasons, the weather, it's boiling and rainy and ridiculously crowded. No.2 and 3 would be June and August for similar reasons June would probably be No.2 since in mid to late August some kids are out of school so it might not be as crowded and June is vacation time for everyone.

I don't see how anyone could vote for December and January when Orlando has the best weather of the year.
