Worst mom award

I always called it the booger sucker thingy.

I tell my kids I'm selling them all the time. I'll ask one, hey want me to sell your brother/sister so we can buy you a pony. The oldest two always said no way, but the little one will say okay sell them... then she changes her mind, but I can see that little thought going through her brain "hmmm, a pony". :lmao:

Tonight I threatened taking away a Disney check because their rooms are a disgusting mess. (We are giving them a check worth one Disney Dollar when they do something really good or helpful, but they can be taken away for bad behavior too... therefore they only have 5 DD7, 4 DS6, and 3 DD4 so far. I doubt any of them will make it past 20 before the trip in Nov)

I have many from the past.. like when my son ate a bug.. well half a bug.

My DS went stomping up the stairs tonight because I have nothing planned for the weekend, he is soooo bored, how could I not have anything for him to do this weekend?! Well, let's see, school has been out for 3 weeks, we have been to Canobie Lake Park, a Red Sox game, the JFK Library (his choice), Mapparium, the Health & Fitness Expo, Life is Good Festival at Fenway, swimming at the High School pool several nights, a couple free concerts in town. Plus we already have plans to attend a Harry Potter Book party on 7/20, tickets to another Red Sox game, Patriots training camp and a week in Disney! I think I can take a weekend off.

This is a great thread. My 9 year old is a bit of a drama queen in fact my husband calls her "the diva" so every day I do something to make her mad. Just the other day is was hot as all heck here and we were getting ready to go to my parents house to see our cousins from Canada that we hadn't seen in 6 years. DD9 was across the street at her friends house and came running home all excited because she was invited to go swimming. I told her "no, we have to leave in 20 minutes" and she had a royal hissy fit. Said she didn't want to see her cousins, didn't care, and on and on and on. Cried when she saw her friend leave. I pretty much ignore her when she gets like that because if I look at her she cries harder. Of course she had a wonderful time with her cousin and didn't want to come home.

DD9 and I arrive at CBR the night that HSM2 premiers. I don't really think she has realized it yet. We arrive at airport at 9:30 PM. Maybe it will play again later in the evening so that she can watch it while we unpack.
