Worst Meal Ever????

ABC Commisary and Sci Fi share the same lavatory :scared1:

It seems to me they might also share some of the same nasty food !

Are you crazy Coral Reef was soooo good when I went in May. and their Chocolate Wave was to die for. Yummy!

I think we maybe spent a total of 45 minutes to an hour to have appetizers, entree and dessert. That's how rushed it was. Never got refill on our drinks. By the way he took our total order all at once, appetizers, entree and dessert, I guess it was his way of avoiding us the rest of the meal.

i refuse to give my complete order, unless i am in a rush. this happened to us at Kona and it made me so mad! i usually tell them that we haven't decided on entrees yet and to please come back for that order after the apps have been delivered.
as for not getting drink refills. at some point i would have gotten up and gone to the host(ess) podium and asked them!

Ours would be the Garden Grille. The only good thing about it was that it was pretty empty and the character interaction was terrific. I thought the food was nasty and slopped together on a single plate- our server never came back to refill drinks or anything. We did ask for more chicken tenders and mac for the kids and I finally had to find him and tell him forget it because it had taken so long no one wanted them anymore. Blech.
I agree. Food was bad and service was worse. Our kids liked it but not for the food.

Whoa whoa whoa.... there's an Ariels? As in a little mermaid restaurant???? And I've never heard of it? :scared1: Crazy!

I just found this out, but apparently it has been closed down as a restaurant's and is only operates for special venues. : ( its really beautiful atmosphere though. you can check it out here....

just scroll down until you see the fishies hanging from the celling!

Dinner at Sci Fi. This place had no business serving the dinner menu.

Stick to the lunch menu here.

San Angel. Horrible food, everything swam in a sauce that was at best, watered down, spicy ketchup. Service was completely horrible!! They did the fly by with a coke refill and spilled it, and then another fly by and dropped the check, no clearing of the table, or dessert request. We had the dining plan, and when we requested the dessert menu (comes with the table service), the waiter said "oh, youre one of them, and brought 1 menu for 4 people. BOO BOO BOO

One of "them"? That server was soooo rude!!! It's DISNEY'S own dining plan, for heaven's sake. Did you ask to speak with the manager about him?

We have 2---Cape May Cafe....everything was fried. Liberty Tree Tavern. The characters were great but the meat was so dry and not appetizing at all. All carbs and the string beans not cooked...waste of $.

CRT (dinner) - service was awful, and the food was not a whole lot better. The food was just literally hurled at you.

Flying Fish - probably more to do with a really bad server, having a really bad day. I didn't appreciate the way the manager shrugged it off, he should have been helping the guy out, at the very least, if he was struggling. He especially should not be telling a guest "What do you want me to do about it?" Urm...your job? This was a long time ago now, so I would like to think things got better.

I'm kind of nervous with all you San Angel haters. I'm trying it for the first time in October:eek:

Cape May Clambake - horrendous! DS(16) who normally eats anything resembling food couldn't find anything edible. Maybe we're used to good seafood being from New Orleans, but even the non-seafood items were terrible.:sad2:

DH and I agree! Even the smell will drive you out of the place.

I can honestly say that I haven't had a horrific meal/dining experience at WDW. There have been a few that I walked out wondering if the server/cook was having a bad day. I usually try a restaurant twice before I say it is bad or not. I try to give benefit to the doubt that the server/cook/restaurant was having a bad day. You fail twice, and you just suck. :rotfl: The two that are up for the "you suck" award is Flying Fish. The service was really slow, but at least the food wasn't bad.

Tie between Tonys and Mama Melrose. Yuck:scared: I think they need to hire some real Italians to cook.

Planet Hollywood at DTD - Ewwww!

The tables were way too close together. The place was way too noisy (I expected noise but not like that). The waiter was rude, clumsy and clueless. He told us the most ridiculous out and out lie!

I can put up with a lot but that meal was terrible. The food was bad and the cruddy attitude of the waiter made it worse. We heard the waiter at the next table asking his customers if they'd ever been there before. He nicely explained the specialties, asked if they had questions, etc. Our guy was just a drip!

Never, ever again!:sad2:

Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Room ....The food was bland and the service, well lets just say there was no talking and no "show" lots of smiling though! The cook acted like she was paying for the butter and seasoning out of her own pocket and did not want to use it.

We have great Tappanyaki houses here locally so that may have tainted my opinion of the one at WDW, but I would never eat there again.

Agreed!!! I could have written your post except we had a male cook and though he smiled alot - he didn't speak. Our show was the onion volcano. And that giner dressing they put on salads. GROSS.

We have two...Planet Hollywood and Coral Reef. We just didn't like the food at all. I would consider trying Coral Reef again and ordering something different, but I would not go back to Planet Hollywood. There was nothing about that restaurant that we enjoyed.

We didn't care for Alfredo's. The kids had pizza and it was pretty bad.

We had a not so good meal at Kona's. I can't remember what everyone had, but out of 4 of us I'm the only one who liked my entree. We liked desserts, though. And LTT was a big disappointment. We waited and waited for food, then never got drink refills. We also wanted some more meat but never got it and the dessert wasn't big enough for 4.

We had a party of 6 at the 50's Prime Time this past May. The food was fine, but the waitress didn't do anything fun. Probably because we were in an area by ourselves and had a late ADR.

50's Prime Time Diner (Aug 2006) - Food was just so so . The waitress was border line nasty to our then 8 yr old son.

Brown Derby (Aug 2006) - loved the Derby in 2005 so much that we didn't hestitate to rebook for Aug 2006. Even had the same waitress as in 2005. DD got sick after the appetitizer came. Waitress still brought her meal and charged us the 2 coupons. DD never touched her meal! DH not one to rock the boat. Service was non existant and food was yucky!

Raglan Road (Aug 2006) - Food was awful and the service was worse. We waited for an hour for our awful food.

Le Cellier (Aug 2006) - Lonnnnnnnng wait for so so food. DH is very easy to please and found the food so so.

Chefs de France (Aug 2005) - snooty wait staff & bland, awful food. DS was entitled to order an appetizer off the adult menu because kids menu did not have appetizer on it. Waiter and mgr. didn't understand how the dining plan worked and made us pay for ds's soup. We ended up leaving before dessert. Waiter wasn't very bright because he should have realized that his tip was dependent upon the amount of food we ordered.

I can honestly say that the only truly bad meal we've ever had at WDW was at Alfredo's a few years ago. The red sauce reminded us of Chef Boyardee :sad2: Maybe we would have been happier with different entrees, who knows. The tables were way too close to eachother and our waiter seemed to despise us for some unknown reason. Oh yeah, a poor little girl also threw up on my feet (I was wearing tennis shoes luckily!!) in the restroom. That happened when we were waiting to be seated--I guess we should have taken the hint :lmao: We can't wait to try it out when it switches to a new restaurant!
